On Thursday night, March 14, President Rodrigo Duterte named a total of 46 incumbent government officials in his "narco-list" during the National Peace and Order Council meeting in Davao City.
The list includes 35 mayors, seven vice-mayors, one provincial board member, and three members of the House of Representatives.
On the list are two (2) incumbent mayors in South Cotabato, namely - Mayor Pablo Matinong of the Municipality of Sto. Niño and Mayor Albert Palencia of the Municipality of Banga.
The incumbent government officials on the list are allegedly involved in illegal drug trade and activities.
President Duterte said the Department of the Interior and Local Government has filed administrative cases against them before the Office of the Ombudsman.
