Solon sa NBI: Buwagin na ang KAPA investment group
DAVAO CITY – Umapela si PBA Partylist Rep. Koko Nograles sa National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) na buwagin na ang bagong “ponzi” syndicate ng Mindanao.
Ayon kay Nograles, ang NBI ay kailangang daw na hulihin at i-neutralize ang operasyon ng KAPA (Kabus Padatuon) Community Ministry International, Inc., na sangkot daw sa large-scale investment fraud.
Hindi raw kagaya sa Aman Futures na nag-aalok ng high yielding interest income, ang KAPA ay nagpapakilala pa raw bilang isang religious group na maraming mga miyembro upang ipakita na matibay at may kredibilidad ito, ayon kay Nograles.
Inihayag ni Nograles na ang SEC ay nagpalabas ns advisory noong Oktobre tungkol sa illegal na operasyon ng KAPA, ngunit walang law enforcement operation ang isinagawa upang mahinto na ang pambibiktima nito.
“This is another multi-billion investment scam with the breadth and scale of Aman Future’s operation. It’s just sad that many people still fall for this kind of scheme. In Davao City alone, I have already received hundreds of complaints from people who lost tens of thousands of their life savings because of KAPA. This must be stopped immediately,” Pahayag ni Koko Nograles.

“This ponzi scheme is very different. Instead of asking for investments, KAPA is asking for donation, which entitles members so-called monthly love gifts amounting to 30% in interest earnings. I think that they use this strategy to get around with our law on these types of investment fraud,” paliwanag pa ni Rep. Nograles.
